Middle School

"We got a special guest today. Who do you suppose it is?
Hint: It's someone very, very, very important to you~"

Kida panicked. He threw his phone to the ground, hanging up along with it. It wasn't long before he was running towards his destination, the place where the gang wanted him alone and where they had his girlfriend.

"Question number 2: What do you suppose she looks like right now?" Damn, why they had to hurt her? "Hint: She won't be walking for a while."

He kept running as he thought about it. After turning his phone back on he called him. Why didn't he answer the phone? This was his fault. No, it was his own fault listening to him. He couldn't deny that fact. Still that didn't matter right now, Saki was in danger.
...He was so close. Just a few more steps to go. Soon he'll be able to save his girlfriend and everything will be okay. Yet...with only a few more steps Kida couldn't do it. Fear. Its finally taking over, but why right at the last moment?

Why couldn't I move? Saki was in danger but why couldn't I move? Why? Why am I so scared?

It was over. He didn't save her but someone did. Still, why wasn't it him who saved her? He stood outside the building where she was. She was alive but still he couldn't walk in to see her. Fear. A different type of fear. Fear with guilt. He sighed and walked away.

Highschool

Mikado. Anri.
His love triangle.
He spoke to them, a happy smile on his face. He wasn't depressed around them. He had a place here.

I thought my peaceful highschool life would continue.

Anri. In bandages. Wounded. 
And because of this he had to go back to being the leader. Leader of the yellow scarves. The very gang that he started a war with causing Saki to get hurt. But this time he was going to use his position to find out who had hurt her. He was forced to do this. He had to find out who did it. For Anri, someone he cared about. The people of his gang cheered as he walked to the front, but he wasn't happy. He was forced into this.

Damn, damn them for bring me back. I was never going to go back.
But I will find out who the Slasher is.

[He woke up with no gleam in his eyes. He had forgotten how important this was, how serious. He had been too carefree and he had to wake up. He lets out a sigh before the feed cuts off.]
